IVY LEAGUE DREAMS
For over six years, I have dreamed of one day going to Yale University. It is something I thought about often over the years and have made many of my life decisions based on how they would affect my chances with the admissions committee. I thought about it every time I drove down I-10 in Houston and passed the exit for Yale Street.
I thought about it each time I left my London flat. Our door lock was from Yale Locks, thus I was faced with the words “YALE” each time I entered the world outside. For the first time, I had the chance to apply to the School of Architecture a few months ago. On March 6th, I received email confirmation that I had been accepted into the M.Arch II program for this Fall. I received the official letter a few days later in the mail.
This morning I officially accepted their offer for admission and matriculated as a student of Yale University. This has been my largest dream for the better part of my 20′s and I am very excited.
